Introducing Vine Late Night with Uberx

What is Vine Late Night?  

Vine Late Night is a program created in partnership with Uber to ensure employees using alternative modes to work including walking, biking or transit have a ride home after transit operating hours. 

How is Vine Late Night different from the Vine?  

The Vine’s bus routes only run until about 6pm, therefore we have partnered with Uber to provide rides to those who work late and can’t access transit after their work shift.  

How do I register? 

Simply download the Uber App on your smartphone and register through your employer’s link! 

How do I pay after requesting a ride? 

Each registered user will be provided five vouchers per week (one per work-day). Each voucher is worth $10 and cannot be rolled over or transferred.  

Where can I travel?  

From your place of employment in Downtown Napa and from select City of Napa hotels back to your home. 

Are there time restrictions?  

You can request a ride from Monday – Sunday from 6:30pm – 11:00pm  

What if an Uber is not available during the program hours and I need a ride home? 

There are two taxi companies that offer rides home in the City of Napa 

Black Tie Taxi: 707-259-100 

Wine Valley Yellow: 707-226-3731 

Registered users may be reimbursed for a taxi ride through NVTA’s Guaranteed Ride Home Program. To file a reimbursement click here.

Are there any hidden fees?  

None!
